Puttng the Pieces Together – Hints, Tips and Information

Twitter Muscle a Definite Read

A very good friend of my Gary Simpson allowed me to read his newest e-book “Twitter Muscle” before its office release. He sent me an advanced copy and asked me to take a read and let him know what I thought. His exact words to me were “you don’t have to read the whole book just skim it and let me know what you think”

I downloaded the book and figured I would take a quick look and then read it in it’s entirety when I had a chance. Well I have to tell you that did not happen. I opened this 44 page information filled book on my computer and started to read. A 20 minutes later I was still reading. 20 minutes afer that I was going back through the book taking notes. Less than 1 hour later I was on Twitter putting into practice what I learned from Gary’s book.

By using Twitter Muscle TIP #08  I have gone from 53 followers to almost 200 followers in a single day. I am on my way to 1,000 followers by the end of next week and I am slotted to reach 2000 followers well before the end of the month. I have also put into practice Twitter Muscle TIP #03, Twitter Muscle TIP #06, Twitter Muscle TIP #09, Twitter Muscle TIP #11, and Twitter Muscle TIP #12 just to name a few (You will have to get Gary’s book and read for yourself what these TIP’s are) :) .

In Twitter Muscle Gary talks about some of the most important aspects of Twitter. Most of the books and movies out there on Twitter do not teach this important lessons. People talk alot about how to get followers and how to dominate Twitter, or how to promote on Twitter. In Twitter Muscle Gary talks about the other side of Twitter.

One of my favorite Twitter Muscke TIPS talks about the Golden Rule of Twitter. For all of us old folk we remember what it means to follow the Golden Rule. For those who do not know what I am talking about here goes.

The Golden Rule:
Do to others as you would have them do to you… This means be kind to others and be helpful whenever possible. Be yourself on Twitter and do not pitch your products over and over again on Twitter. If you have valuable information to diseminate to people, Twitter is a great way to do this. Just remember people get very tired of being pitched at every moment they are on-line.

I believe most people also are looking to make friends and like minded people on Twitter. People are not looking to be yelled at or having a lot of negitivity thrown at them. If you are using Twitter (if you’re not you need to) do not get caught up with the negitivity of others. There are people out there that spend all of their time cutting others down, it does not pay to get involved with these types of people.

    Hi Thom,

My-oh-my! That was such a GREAT recommendation of my Twitter e-book. I thank you sincerely for that Thom. I am also glad that you are implementing some of my ideas.

I gotta confess, I had to flick through my own book to remember what those tips were – LOL!

Thanks again Thom. I’m hoping to have this e-book available soon. So glad you liked it so much.

    Gary
