Fortunate 500 Video Competition

In my latest post I wanted to update everyone on how my entry into the Alex Jeffreys video competition is coming. I am editing now so it will be up this week. See more information on my last post.

This is my latest video. Wanted to do a Interview type show. Please check it out

Here is my first Video completed and ready for the competition.

Here is another YouTube video I made for the competition

I wanted to also create a place were I can place other students videos as I see them on YouTube.

The first one and by far the funniest one I have seen so far is Garry Parkes video. Here is it

Here is another, I love the song he used as well as coming up with his own words. Way to go Nitin:

This one really cracked me up also.. I love the voice over with the picture..

Here is Steve Harold’s

One more for this evening – I really like the music

    Hi Thom

I look forward to seeing your video!

My favourite of the above is the 3rd one down by the netexperiment.com, man that made me laugh.

Just back from vacation so loads to catch up on before I can even think about doing a video but I’ll do my best!

    Speak soon

  2. Hi Thom, Just saw your video & thought I’d drop in on my rig hopping (a few a day). I’ve added you to the blogroll on my site. You’ve possibly heard of Christopher Howard, who is also a martial arts champion who has used his success to build a phenomenal business. I went to one of his seminars recently and he is very inspiring. I could see you doing that in the near future. If you haven’t seen him, drop me a line and I can get you some free tickets (valued at $895 each) to his next seminar. Depending where you are in the world, he does tour UK, USA, Australia and some other places regularly. Let me know if you’d like to go. It would help boost your business successes.
I’ve added your video to the student showcase on my site, where you can see all the entries in one place. (sharpmarketingmethod dotcom). I need to learn how to do a video in the style you used. SO much to learn, but the journey is enlightening. Good luck to you Thom,
    Gaielle

    Gaielle,

Thank you so much for your kind words. Using animoto is very easy. If you have any question please let me know if I can help.

Thank you also for the offer of tickets. I am located in Wisconsin, the ice cold tundra here in the USA.

Thanks again for the kind words.

    Hi Thom,

I watched the entire 9:50 Alex Jeffreys “interview” video and I have to say I thought it was BRILLIANT. The way that you spliced it all together was very, very clever. A great credit to you.

i must say, too, that your voice is very clear and very credible. You could easily be a late night host.

I LOVED every minute of it. Very, very WELL DONE!

    Gary Simpson

PS: I think I overdid it with the “very, verys” but it WAS very, very good! LOL!

  5. Gary,

Thanks for that glowing review. I actually laughed out loud.
Didn’t I tell you I am in the running for taking over Jay Leno’s job. ;)

Really thanks for the post and the visit.

    Thom

    Hi Thom,

Jeez you had me a bit concerned there. I thought there may have been TWO defections in one day.

    Glad it wasn’t. LOL!

    It was a masterful effort.

    Gary

PS: Go and check out Parkesy’s blog – if it hasn’t gone into meltdown.

  7. Hi Thom,

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your comment.

Man, another a** Kicker Blackbelt !

Love your blog, you also have the perfect voice for video, if that makes sense…

Very easy to listen to … keep the videos coming ;-)

    Cheers

    Tommy

  8. Tommy,

Thanks for stopping over and taking a look. Thank you for the kind words also. I talk for a living. One of these days I will put a video up of me teaching a class here at work. My day job :) is that of a Corporate Trainer. I teach people how to sell. I am actually in class at this moment training new associates how to sell for a major office supply company.

I love my work, although it can be taxing on the voice and the soul sometimes.

    Thanks again for stopping over,

    Thom

  9. Gary,

No way you are not going to get rid of me that easily. I am in the middle of writing my post on the decision I have made.

This may sound strange but you gave me permission to make this decision. That may not make sense at this time, but it will :) . Not trying to be vague just want it to be a suprise.

    Thom

  10. Gary Simpson says:

OK. SURPRISE us – when you’re ready!

    Gary

  11. Hi Thom,
